Kori Harris - Pitching & 18U

Coach Harris brings a wealth of playing, coaching, and leadership experience to the softball community in Colorado. A native of Gilbert, Arizona, Kori was a four-year varsity starter at Gilbert High School, where she earned All-Region honors three times and received All-State recognition during her standout high school career.

Following high school, Kori continued her playing career at Belmont University, earning Freshman All-Conference honors before finishing her collegiate career at Missouri Western State University. Her passion for the game quickly transitioned into coaching, where she has spent years developing athletes both on and off the field.

Kori began her collegiate coaching career as an assistant coach at South Mountain Community College before serving as the Recruiting Coordinator at Scottsdale Community College. In 2012, she joined the coaching staff at CSU-Pueblo as the pitching coach, helping develop student-athletes at the NCAA level.

After transitioning to the high school ranks in Colorado, Kori served as the varsity assistant coach at Vista Ridge High School, where the program captured back-to-back PPAC Championships during her tenure. She later became the head coach at Sand Creek High School, leading the Scorpions to the first two regional appearances in school history and helping elevate the program to new heights. In 2026, Kori is taking over as the head coach at Liberty High School, continuing her mission of building competitive programs while mentoring young women through athletics.

In addition to her coaching accomplishments, Kori holds both a master’s degree and a doctorate in leadership. She is deeply committed to developing strong female leaders and believes softball provides a powerful platform for confidence, resilience, accountability, and personal growth.

Outside of her team coaching responsibilities, Kori is also a respected private pitching coach in the Colorado Springs area, where she works with athletes of all ages to develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
